In the early 1990’s I embarked on a new career and began a 3-year course (Lic.Ac ) at the College of Traditional Acupuncture (C.T.A) in Leamington Spa. During this time I heard many inspiring and uplifting stories of lives being transformed with acupuncture , both from patients and practitioners. Patients often remarked on an improvement in their " well- being" , alongside changes in their physical and mental health. Here was  a system of medicine that could both help maintain  good health and fight ill health.

I graduated from C.T.A and became a Member of the British Acupuncture Council (M.B.Ac.C) in 1995. Since that time I’ve worked for over 12 years alongside G.P's, and worked in conjunction with many other complementary practitioners. I  have treated a wide and sometimes unusual selection of complaints, along with those complaints frequently associated with acupuncture. My experience of working with a broad age range  , patients with H.I.V and Aids, and drug and alcohol addiction problems has been invaluable. I’ve appeared on the Discovery Channel promoting acupuncture, have been a regional co-coordinator for The British Acupuncture Council, and have particularly enjoyed teaching acupuncture students for the last 10 years.
